Andy Murray Defeats Henman at Basel/Basle

Yesterday Andy Murray emerged victorious from a battle with his childhood hero, Tim Henman. Andy applied the pressure early and Tim pretty much crumbled in the first set; he looked nervous and made numerous unforced errors. The rest of the match was a proper scrap though, with Andy finally turning the screw in the deciding tiebreaker.
Murray, ranked 70, will face Tomas Berdych today at 7pm British time. Berdych is a 20-year-old Czech who was on the verge of breaking into the top 30 back in August, but has since dropped back to 52.
