Google Base Coming Soon

Sounds interesting. Google Base was sort of live.

Looks like it's gonna be online storage (searchable, of course) for anything and everything that you possess (but not the kitchen sink). So you upload photos, videos, documents, recipes(?!) and all that jazz. There is also the ability to upload classified ads (for accommodation, 2nd-hand items, etc) and a payment system hooked in, so venturing into eBay and craigslist territory.

Obviously this kind of thing is already available, but this is cool cos it's Google baby! Actually, they are rapidly becoming uncool, what with them being valued at more than $100 billion and all the evil sh*t that comes with that.
