yes, please! I decided today that deleting the first few episodes was a bad idea and I want to hold onto this show, a mirrored copy would be awesome.

So someone else who now has them can host them somewhere.

Click the episode one link. Then click "skip". Then click "wait in line and download". Then wait. Then click "cancel" or "no" when message pops up. Then click "dowload ready".

Alan,
Can't thank you enough for providing the much-soughtafter 'early years'! Didn't have a problem with any of the links, save the usual crap you deal with on those websites.
Grateful in the extreme! Although I'm getting some very funny looks on the train these days due to spontaneously giggling at what appear to be inopertune moments!
All the best! Thanks again!

All the podcasts are avilable through itunes.
Do downlod the older XFM shows use flashget then in internet explorer right click on the page and select 'download all by Flashget' then click 'choose' and select .wma. This way you can download all the parts of each show.
They are also avilable on bittorrent

I don't know if you've tried downloading podcast 7 from the list of links on the site i posted on the 13th Feb, they are all rapidshare links and i know some people are having trouble downloading from there, so i have uploaded it to megaupload.com. Here is the link, i hope it helps.

Hi guys, I'm the "webmaster" here. Could you please give a little more info than "broken" or "can't seem to download". How far do you get? All the ep 1-7 rapidshare links work fine for me. Just want to help!
Posted by: Alan | February 16, 2006 at 08:56 AM
I have all the episodes upto episode 11 on m4a format. if you want a episode email me at jkmulcher@hotmail.com and arrange a time that i can send you them through MSN.
Try to share any episodes you have so everyone can listed to them all
Posted by: Joe | February 16, 2006 at 12:31 PM
You may have trouble downloading because the host server makes you wait 80 minutes between downloads unless you become a premium member. No hassle if you ghave a while. Thanks for hosting/linking them.

I know this may seem like a strange request, but does anyone have an mp4.xml file with entries for all 12 episodes? Failing that, the first 8 would be great. I want to subscribe in iTunes, but the first few are missing as I subscribed once the podcast had been going for a few weeks.
Many thanks.

Why can't I get 4th,5th, 6th etc Ricky Gervais podcasts to download (it says permission denied - not allowed to share - complaints received (or similar))- I missed most of them and was so happy to find your site. Now I don't know if I'm ever gonna hear them all (sob) - help me please someone.
Paul
Posted by: Paul | February 28, 2006 at 11:29 AM
Dunno. Maybe the Gervais corporation are clamping down. Maybe they're planning to charge for access to the full archive of shows. Dunno.
Posted by: Alan | February 28, 2006 at 11:33 AM
I've also got all 12 as MP3 files if anyone else urgently wants to get hold of them. Just email me...
Posted by: MrTBC | February 28, 2006 at 05:20 PM
The .rar in the torrent is an archive file, just like a .zip file. You'll need a program to extract it (WinRar, 7Zip etc.). The rar file contains the twelve episodes als twelve seperate files.
Posted by: Eric | February 28, 2006 at 06:13 PM
I don't think the podcast are pulled off for copyright reasons, it'll be just the bandwidth that's getting out of hand.
Imagine a extremely popular podcast, downloaded by millions, each podcast taking at least 13MB. Hardly anyone can offer so much download capacity for free.
That's why the torrents are so usefull in this case. Torrents (like the one a few post above this one) are ideal for spreading bandwidth hungry stuff like this. Try it, the torrents really work and the one 'len' posted earlier works for sure, I tried it myself.

Everyone else, the twelve recent podcasts can be downloaded here:

You'll need a (free) Bittorrent client to download them (Azureus, uTorrent, BitComet etc. etc.) but they are working and complete!

Get it on Rickys own page...

Alot of the XFM shows...its all through megaupload and rapidshare though which is a bitch because if you don't have an account all must be downloaded individually...
